Yamaha EC-05
The Yamaha EC-05 is an āĻāϞā§āĻāĻā§āϰāĻŋāĻ āϏā§āĻā§āĻāĻžāϰ from the famous Japanese brand Yamaha. Yamaha is one of the largest manufacturers of motorcycles in the world.
The EC-05 is created in a partnership with the Taiwanese e-scooter startup Gogoro and the scooter shares many features of the Gogoro 2, including the power-train and batteries.
The scooter has a ā§Ŧ,ā§Ēā§Ļā§Ļ āĻāϝāĻŧāĻžāĻ electric motor. The scooter has a top speed of ā§Ēā§Ģ āĻāĻŋāϞā§āĻŽāĻŋāĻāĻžāϰ/āĻāĻŖā§āĻāĻž and accelerates from ā§Š.⧝ āϏā§āĻā§āύā§āĻĄā§ 0 āĻĨā§āĻā§ ā§Ģā§Ļ āĻāĻŋāĻŽāĻŋ/āĻāύā§āĻāĻž.
The speed of the scooter can be restricted to be officially registered as ā§Ēā§Ģ āĻāĻŋāϞā§āĻŽāĻŋāĻāĻžāϰ/āĻāĻŖā§āĻāĻž scooter in Europe.
The scooter has two removable Gogoro-compatible Lithium batteries for a range of ā§§ā§§ā§Ļ āĻāĻŋāϞā§āĻŽāĻŋāĻāĻžāϰ. Yamaha has entered a partnership with Honda, Kawasaki and Suzuki to design a standardized swap-able battery that can be shared by many electric vehicles, including cars and boats.
The batteries can be swapped at existing Gogoro GoStation battery-swap facilities and Gogoro provides a home-charger named GoCharger.
The dashboard is similar to that of the Gogoro 2. The scooter has a wireless RFID key and connects to a smart phone for access to scooter apps.
The scooter is available in 4 colors:
Islate Blue, Diamond Black, Deep Blue and Sugar White.
